Residents in Collier county received a letter requesting information in case something goes wrong, when they start test wells, and there has to be an evacuation. This is a good read because no one had any idea that fracking was allowed in Florida. The shale in this area is very soft in the Collier oil field. The company is looking for gas and is going to do some tests to look for natural gas. This comes on the heals of the Florida Legislature passing a bill this week to allow companies to list the chemicals they use in fracking in a registry. http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/04/24/3362818/house-oks-bill-to-disclose-fracking.html Maybe the residents in that right wing district will connect the dots and stop voting Republican? The other oil field is in Santa Rosa County, outside of Jay, Florida. Collier oil field is dangeriously close to the fragil Everglades water system.

I posted this to give readers here at dag an idea why the GOP is losing South Florida. Rubio and Jeb running 2016 won't be able to carry the state because of all the damage Rick Scott and Co. is doing to the state.

Well, at least Florida isn't known for its sinkholes…
