I cannot believe that a U.S. president would ever try to interfere with the elections of a sovereign nation, right fellow libs?? :) From the link:
"[The President] can't say he has a business-like relationship or that it isn't personal when his entire political machine, virtually, some of the top people in his political operation, were in Israel on the ground trying to defeat Netanyahu, which is unprecedented," Rubio said of Obama on Tuesday in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.
"He didn’t send anyone in any other country to try to influence the outcome of those elections," Rubio, a potential 2016 contender, added.
Obama attempted to play down the friction with Netanyahu earlier in the day Tuesday, saying their differences weren't personal but over substantive policy issues. He described their relationship as "very businesslike."
"[W]hat he’s saying is absurd in terms of it not being personal. That sounds pretty personal to me," Rubio said.

This may have more to do with Florida politics because Rubio's term is up in 2016. He has a year before he has to put himself on the ballot to run again for Senator. He is sitting on the fence right now on trying to get some traction for a presidential run. He was once groomed by JEB and the Bush machine to be a rising star and future president. That relationship fell apart while he ran for senate in 2010.
Patrick Murphy (D) who is a US House Rep from the Treasure Coast area of Florida, announced this week that he is running for Rubio's Senate seat. Murphy is from a ruby red district and has the same style of politics that Bill Nelson is known for. If Rubio decides to throw in the towel with national politics and stay in the senate, Murphy will be a real threat to him.

Rumor started with John McLaughlin who is a discredited Republican pollster. He worked for Eric Cantor and poled him 40 points ahead in his primary race that Cantor lost. McLaughlin doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground. He is a grifter and a very stupid one. He tried to tie Jewish organizations to the President.

Rubio isn't very smart at times. I have been in Florida for 30 plus years and he has been the dumbest senator we have had during this time. Then again the GOP these days wear their ignorance like a badge of honor.

I just deleted my reply I think momoe, but basically I totally agree with you that there's lots of Florida politics in Rubio's little campaign, but I think it's a fun article anyway. I mean you have all of these GOP and Dem consultants working for candidates over in Israel and accusing each other of using foreign money! As to Rubio's chances, with all those folks possibly running, I have no idea how it's going to shake out. But it could be fun to watch on the sidelines, no? :)

Florida could turn out to be interesting again this time. I dread all the nasty political ads that end up here. By the time voting starts you just wish it would end.
