    Popular votes

    Trump                  59,588,437

     Hillary                 59,794,373

    Her lead                   205,936

    Still counting  but there aren't enough uncounted votes  for him to catch her

     Electoral College

    Trump             279   (takes 270 to win)

     Hillary            228

    State of Michigan 

    Trump               2,279,210

    Hillary                2,267,373

    His Michigan lead   11,837

    And OBTW

    Jill Stein                  68 686

    End of facts.

    But, What if  ?

    Jill hadn't run. And her voters split like this

    Trump               10,000

    Hillary                25,000

    Didn't vote         33,686

    Total                   68,686

    Then the Michigan numbers would have been

    Trump                2,289,000

    Hillary                 2,292,000

    And the electoral college score would be

    Trump                    263 ( takes 270 to win)

    Hillary                    240

    And  we'd still be counting.

    Makes you think.

    Or If Jill had just not run Hillary would be discussing her 

    supreme court nominations today

    More numbers: GOP upped to 2/3 of governorships, 2/3 of legislatures, to go with majority in Senate, House, Presidency and a new empty Supreme Court seat to fill.

    (for those still in denial, in a nation 2/3 conservative, do you really think a *more* liberal candidate would have done better?)

    Trump spent $280 million to Hillary's $690 million - all that free publicity served him well.

    (again, would a non-billionaire candidate eschewing money in politics have done better, seeing as a complaint from the primaries was the media wouldn't pay him enough attention?)
