With the news of Herman's book, I feel confident stating that Herman Cain is a self-aggrandizing bluejay.
Republicans seem to repeatedly display the habit of choosing to initiate the self-referential egress swirl. Maybe it's just me; but I'm pretty sure that's what happens when one pulls one's own handle.
Comments
Pulling one's own handle down to effect a self-referential egress swirl is one of the funnier thoughts I've had in a while. Especially appropriate for Mr. Cain.
Or as W.C. Fields, the circus proprietor put it, "This way to the egress".

Cain views Jesus as the perfect Conservative. This is an excerpt from a Christmas themed column that Cain posted at RedState:
You can use the link for Cain description of the "Liberal" Roman court that sentenced Jesus to death.

....and the left wing bleeding heart Roman Empire did, of course, have welfare, food stamps, unemployment, social security and lefty activist judges on the liberal courts that killed conservative Jesus. Conservative Jesus was executed because he was a threat to the conservation of the world and religious order(??..!) He was an infamous conservative like Cain?? I can't see Cain with his buddy Koch battling the lions in the coliseum, they would be up in the corporate boxes watching the liberals of the day, the Christians, being sacrificed for the entertainment of the rich and powerful.
Life was so 60's hippie back in the old socialist Roman days 2000 years ago. If the slave union would get you a card, you could always get a job in the salt mines, the galleys, try your luck in the arena, or join a legion to rape and pillage barbarians.
Bottom line is the grasp of history, science and reality of a large portion of our country is mind boggling outright dumb. This dumb is the major problem in this country. I don't believe any country on earth has so many dumb suckers, which is why every scam artist in the world comes here to market their crap or snake oil to get rich.

Let me provide a translation from what you are reading in the King's English into Christianist wingnut:
The Romans were against Jesus and the Christians. The Romans become modern day Liberals who are for separation of Church and State or openly hostile to Christianity and religion. The trial and persecution is what the wingnuts expect to happen to Christians under Liberal rule. Cain is talking to his people.

The fear that wingnuts have about Liberals is a reflection of their own inner desires about what they would really like to do to Liberals. If you remember during the Presidential race, one fear heard in some Conservative quarters was that blacks would do the same thing to whites that whites had done to blacks if Obama won the election.

Yes. How many GOP politicians abandon their wives and kids, called the Full Gingrich Syndrome, while they demagogue about gays being a threat to the family. Life is easier if you just assume the Republicans are always lying.

Cain stood on the sidelines in the Civil Rights era, but was lucky enough to take advantage of the gains made by the sacrifices of others. Those who actually fought he battles for Civil rights would be considered suckers by Cain since there as no profit to be made. Cain's theology of poverty being self-inflicted differs markedly from the teachings of MLK Jr and Jesus.
