Keep me away from open windows, sharp objects, and toxic substances--I am a danger to myself. This is fucking unbelivably bad timing, it is JUST what that schmuck needed to be able to wave anytime the heat goes up! "Surging, I'm surging I tell ya'!"

BTW, (RMRD, this if for you....)
Bernie would be ahead by 20%+, and I will show any doubting motherfucking thomas the numbers.
by jollyroger on Sun, 09/25/2016 - 1:34pm
Apparently the "Bernie-Sads" from which I and so many suffer, have at least made one contribution to Clinton....:

I hate alternative historical fiction but I want to be helpful. Here's a list of alternative historical fiction I'm sure you'll love. I suggest you start with the books about the history after Hitler won WWII.

I liked the one where Hillary was indicted and Bernie walked onstage to rescue the Democratic Party. You can still see him mouthing "Lock her up, lock her up". Or was that the other convention? I lose track.

Show me your numbers.
538 gives Hillary 283 electoral college votes in today's analysis

Post - debates the pundits, who grade, on a curve will say that Trump looked "Presidential" because he didn't drool on stage.
by rmrd0000 on Sun, 09/25/2016 - 3:08pm
You're overestimating the pundits. They'll simply remind people how much Americans love dogs, who drool almost constantly, as another possible explanation why people love Trump.

LOL
Sad but true

Pundits?
We don't need no stinkin' pundits...

Hillary's been losing 24x7 since about March 2015 - somehow we've factored in this bit of low expectations of how such a chronic congenital loser can win contests while still losing them. And did we note how unlikable she is? The punditocracy has a tough job in predicting how badly she'll lose and for what reasons. Curiously enough, she will fail to live up to even these lowered expectations, and worse, by all appearances her appearances are insufficient or downright flawed. You'd think an ex-First Lady/ex-Senator/ex-Secretary of State and close runner up to the Democratic nomination could get it together after all these times, but she simply seems incapable of pleasing us all. Why, you might ask. Because, is the age-old answer.

Wadday expect? He learned half his bluster from Bernie. "I'se gonna win California, I'se beating Trump better'n her in da national polls..." Right up here with "We're yuge in Europe, dude" I'm sure Bush Sr. and a host of Republican security and foreign policy experts would have come out for TheBern. No jokes about his age or Castro bromance either - tho seriously, Twitter might have had to expand a few chars to fit in Trump's "hispanic communist illegal immigrant loving socialist cadaver from hippie haven Vermont spending other people's money" comments.

I hope you don't choke on your Trump popcorn during the debate tomorrow night. I have a hard time squaring your claim to have changed your mind about Hillary with your penchant for posting anything negative about her you can find. Like there isn't enough shit about Trump's crap to keep you busy. But keep it up. Maybe Trump would even hire you.

Well, I have come in these confused times to consort with a crowd that normally I piss on, specifically Mark Cuban, but I have hopes for him.
I fear that I have failed to convince you of the sincerity of my hopes for a Trump loss, (wjich is now to say, for a Hillary victory).
Under the circumstances, you will understand my reluctance to admonish you neither to "believe me" , "trust me" nor any such formulation, but, withal, believe me, I want her to win.

Either Trump will be President or Clinton will be President.
Trump lies at frequency of every 3:15 minutes.
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/09/2016-donald-trump-fact-ch...
Clinton lies every 12 minutes, mostly about things like transparency and her reluctance to reveal her pneumonia.
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/09/2016-hillary-clinton-fact...
Trump lies about everything
Trump is a white supremacist and a pathological liar.
by rmrd0000 on Sun, 09/25/2016 - 8:50pm
The Politico lies analysis on Clinton was both siderist media bullshit:
1. " she described how “careful” she is with classified information."
The NSA could say they are "careful" with classified and top secret information and Snowden walked out with 1 1/2 million documents. Clinton had 3 email strings marked 'C' the lowest level of classified out of 30,000 emails, on a private server, THAT WAS NEVER HACKED!
2. "arguing that she’s met the standard of all previous candidates for office. Except there is no standard, and she’s arguably kept private significant details about her physical health."
No standard? As good as past candidates is pretty good. 'Arguably kept private' the GOP and media would argue about it forever.
3. "The accuracy of Clinton’s claim depends on Trump’s net worth — a matter of dispute. "
So that's Hillary's fault?
4. " without a clear path to get things done in what’s likely to be a divided Congress. "
How about how can any Democrat get anything done except lowering taxes on the living and dead rich with a Republican Congress?
5. "Trump is a birther, but he said he wasn't last week"
Saying Donald is lying is a lie?
6. "The Republican nominee incites racism and violence like we've never seen before".
Politco - not true, "saw it with Andrew Jackson", if you are 180 years old! or "George Wallace".....(who was not a Republican! )
Clinton - I said Republican nominee..

MSM grades on a curve. Politico thinks that the analysis is balanced.

Driftglass:
by NCD on Sun, 09/25/2016 - 10:51pm
Thanks for that link - Driftglass has 2 wonderful recent pieces, one displaying just why this election is so fucked up to begin with with David Brooks putting his lofty millennial-all-knowing fat aged fingers on the scale and somehow anything Hillary said in the last 20 years is whisked into the waste-bin of his selective unconscious, and the 2nd reminding us that Hunter S. Thompson was still alive in 2004 and celebrating the Kerry come-from-behind ass-whooping he gave Bush in the debates, ignoring that the public so full of fear and post-9/11 bursting diaper would largely see it in a both-sides-do-it-too context and Kerry was still too French so we'd hand over the keys to the creakity greatest-democracy-ever car to an irritable hands-shaking entitled ex-drunk to careen down the wrong alleyways and gutted out backroads for another 4 years.
And for those who got a thrill out of "how-we've-all-come-together" when Bush had Barry take his photo-op pseudo-selfie this weekend, I'm reminded of this....
and this....
Yep, just another bystander with nothing better to do than serve Georgie's whims. At least he's not racist, just self-absorbed. Oddly puts him half a head above the rest of his ilk and of course unacceptable to the new GOP.
