The oral argument before the 3-judge panel begins at 3 pst (6 est) and is scheduled to last one hour, with 30 minutes allotted to each side. It could go longer than that; that is up to the court. Don't be surprised to hear quite a few questions about the standing that a state has to challenge the executive order. I wish the stakes weren't so high, because this is such an opportunity to witness (at least through hearing) an extraordinary legal battle.

Maybe this will encourage the SC to at least livestream audio feed in real time.
I'm actually sympathetic to their stated disinclination to have the threshold for Justice facial recognition capacity lowered from it's present (really modest) level of intellectual competence to include the no print/TV watching only cohort of their fellow citizens.
O/T Hi Bruce.

Hi JR. Feel a bit silly because CNN is apparently having the audio on live as well.

The 1952 Immgration law:
Trump - did he find or claim?
There is no evidence these visa holders were found by Trump to be detrimental. They were claimed so with nothing to back it up. I haven't heard this point argued.

To answer my own question, what or why the administration did the ban would come out if this went to trial and 'discovery'.
Right now they are determining whether to leave the stay in place.

Thanks for this. I would certainly have missed it and I am glad I didn't. I'll be looking forward to the coming legal commentary including yours. The Only place I regularly go is Jonathan Turley's blog. Any recommendations?

Honestly don't follow too many legal blogs, but I've been reading this one a bit for information about this immigration dispute.

This is a great collection of documents from all of the cases, including the one in the 9th circuit, challenging the president's executive order.
