Deserved it for "American Pie" alone. "Stuck in the Middle with You" is worthy of Shelley, a real gem, and Shelley couldn't play harmonica worth shit.

My favorites are "Blowin' In the Wind," "Just Like a Woman," and "Forever Young." They all make me cry. I am so glad he won this! "Lay Lady Lay." "It Ain't Me Babe." Oh, the list goes on.
The weird thing is I used to make fun of the way he sang, and now I just love it.
Considering the stuff coming out now (I know, I sound like an old coot), I remain so proud of the music that came out in my formative years -->. mainly the 60's.

Dylan hasn't come out with anything worthwhile in the last 30 years. If they were going to give the award to a singer/songwriter (and poet and novelist), it should have gone to Leonard Cohen, who has been consistently putting out interesting deep material for 60 years now, and show no sign of stopping. Having given it to Dylan, they'll never give it to Cohen.
