Apparently, citizens of Ferguson feel that little has changed. Ferguson is in the process of suing two journalists for doing actual journalism. Ferguson still doesn't have a clue.

These Oath Keepers are reinforcing the concept that the police will allow whites to openly carry weapons, but a black person would be shot on sight.

I do not feel like giving a link right now, but Alex Jones is spewing out revolution on his blog/tv show lately and so are others.

O'Reilly and others do not help the situation.

THIS IS A MESS.

These militia groups have been planning for a race war ever since Obama won in 2008. They really want one because they are out of touch with reality. I am expecting one of these groups to go one step too far.

You have got too many like Jones agitating We need to bring back the Fair Doctrine. Hate speech and lying in the media should be punished.

If you want to own military and hunting weapons, then you should have to carry expensive liability insurance. Let the insurance companies put an end to all these large collections of weapons and amo.

Reuters reports that four Oath Keepers are in Ferguson, and that law enforcement isn't happy about their presence, either. Even under a state of emergency, however, open carry of registered firearms is legal.

Six members of the group were forced by police to disperse last November when they lined rooftops after the grand jury decision not to indict Wilson.

They claim they're there to protect an Infowars "journalist", though the Alex Jones site hedges a bit on that. They strike me (so far) as more bluster and BS than truly ominous. But there's no doubt that white, camouflage-wearing armed civilians are inflammatory at best.

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
