You cannot make this stuff up. You. Can. Not. Make this shit up. You just can't.
State Rep. Todd Courser planned the distribution of a fictional email alleging he had sex with a male prostitute in a bid to conceal his relationship with Rep. Cindy Gamrat, according to audio recordings obtained by The Detroit News.
Courser, a Lapeer Republican, said on one recording the email was designed to create “a complete smear campaign” of exaggerated, false claims about him and Gamrat so a public revelation about the legislators’ relationship would seem “mild by comparison.”
The soundcloud recording is a must listen.
Will somebody please save Michigan, my Michigan?
Even the state teabaggers are asking for the two of them to step down.

You are right. It is worse then pulp fiction. Thanks for the link.

Yeah I agree Momoe.

Recall WH correspondent and soft ball questioner of W Jeff Gannon, the male prostitute who advertised on the web, and who got a special white house press pass under Rove/GWB, plus who checked into the white house after hours but not out?
He 'represented' some fake Texas news site, and his pass was pulled when the gay prostitute stuff came out, he would ask softball questions of W when (rarely) tough questions were asked, and Colbert had a spoof on a Gannon button on the podium on one of his roast of GW bush at the 2004 DC Press Correspondents Dinner..
George W. and Rove create Gannon and anoint him with White House press pass powers
Colbert's spoof of Pres. Bush - as he looks for the Gannon button as Helen Thomas, that pesky old woman in the front of press row whose been around since JFK, asks again about the Iraq War

Here's a little update on this story...because, god help me, I just cannot look away.
There might be a little snag in this so-called investigation. (Republicans investigating Republicans.) Further down in the article, it says that Courser and Gamrat did most of their official business using private email accounts and cell phones.
So, how are they supposed to investigate that? How are they supposed to find out if state resources were misused by these two perversely Christian public servants if most of their official business was conducted by private communications? There is no mention of their private communications being seized by officials.
Yeah, they're gonna skate on this.

Apparently, Courser has apologized via a rambling audio recording on his website according to CNN. He's refusing to step down, though ... and his explanation is downright Trumpish.

Yep, it's a conspiracy against him! He was blackmailed! The progressives did it to him! And whatnot!
Sigh.
The saddest thing is, this isn't the first time he's allegedly done some nefarious deed to make himself look good.

Seriously. From the link in the above quote...
It just keep getting piled higher and deeper.

Did Michigan slip and fall down into the deep south and land in Louisiana?

Michissippi.

I started writing a blog about it last night and the links to new stories were coming fast and furious. I'm still reading that stuff and it's unreal! I've been having so much fun reading it all, I never finished the blog. It just goes on and on. . .
I love it when hypocrites get caught at the same things they go off on. Especially when they're "lawmakers". Especially when they're bible-thumping Tea Partiers. Something very soul-satisfying about it all.

I know! One cannot help but stand and stare at the spectacle. It's gone national now. Bill Ballenger and Tim Greimel were on CBS This Morning talking about it.
