The message by “Sacheen Littlefeather when refusing to accept the Best Actor Oscar® on behalf of Marlon Brando for his performance, may have needed to be said, but not many enjoyed the "turd in the punch bowl" at the festivities.
The better place to have brought out the particular cause, may have been Short film documentary, but not to take the stage set, to Honor.

Was this about the same time Johnny Cash put out that album Bitter Tears? There may have been similar sentiments coming from Brando and Cash.
