Barney Frank, pretty much owns this dude, but hey, they kept the video up, so there I'll give them a hand for that, although I am pretty sure they think their reporter got the best of Frank. Not realizing, no one gets the best of Barney "arguing with you is like arguing with a table" Frank.

But the young conservative does have a point! Showering with many of the women at my gym would be fun. What do you mean that wasn't his point?

He does indeed.

Taking the reporter's question as asked: "The working group recommended that straights will have to shower with homosexuals.... "
A really stupidly worded question to begin with. He kept calling the fact that showers would be shared a "recommendation".

Well, the solution is obvious: Gay men, and Lesbian women can shower together, but not with anyone else. See how easy it is when you see the big picture?
BTW, I disagree that he "eviscerated" the reporter. The reporter represented a very typical concern of homophobes, and I think that the Senator answered him in a way that was non-confrontational, and might just have educated him.
Frank was not at all nasty or rude, and he made several points that might help those who don't know any better because of what they have heard from the time they were old enough to understand the spoken word.
This is a process, folks. Let's help those who have been indoctrinated to learn. Barney Frank demonstrated that beautifully, WITHOUT eviscerating someone who didn't know any better.
