When the steaming entrails of his slaughtered campaign are fully sorted through, I really hope that Trump's remarkably stupid critiques of the pending Mosul operation stand out as causing every US veteran to vote against him and every Republican on the ticket (on grounds of contagious stupidity...)
You will, of course, have heard Trump's argument that in order to bolster HRC's electoral chances, the US military is foolishly giving advance notice that an attack on Mosul is coming
"How stupid is that?!"
Of interest, Trump cites Patton and MacArthur as spinning in their graves.
Hey, why not Tojo? After all, Pearl Harbor was a "sneak attack". (That's what he learned at New York Military Academy.)
But, say the critics, "times change!"
Thus, when the introduction of satellite imaging is presented to Trump as only one of many flaws in his plan, we can expect that he will triumphantly refer the pesky questioner to Star Trek science, and point to the availability of cloaking devices to preserve the element of surprise.
Comments
Double Down Donald--It's been days since his moronic remarks have drawn universal ridicule, and he keeps repeats them right down to yesterday.
Donald Trump Is Wrong About Mosul. Wrong
It’s absurd to think we could launch a surprise attack on ISIS there.

You know what is even more absurd than thinking we could launch a surprise attack on ISIS in Iraq?
That people as intelligent as we all are, even comment on this incurious, ignorant, vocabulary-challenged, immature, oaf's verbal diarrhea. It is amazing, and we all do it, hoping that somehow, someone will see the light.
TWO MORE WEEKS! And then NO MORE TRUMP!
I am starting a new life November 9th!

Alas, I fear the ghost of elections yet to come is planning to start haunting on Nov.9....

Oh my GAWD! NOOOOOOOOOO!
by CVille Dem on Tue, 10/25/2016 - 10:28pm
Fact: Donald Trump is a Republican.
Fact: Reince Priebus is clearly a Romulan, based on his name.
Conclusion: Yes, he would have used a cloaking device.

Hate? I have nothing but respect for Mr. Trump. He's going to build a big beautiful force field and make the Federation great again.

Finally, somebody is going to keep those Borg out of our territory. If they want to live here, they should be willing to assimilate, at least.

Those godless, collectivist fanatics want to take away our phasers and destroy our way of life!
by Michael Wolraich on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 12:24pm
Tasers, Mike, tasers. I know the print's tiny, but gotta keep it on script. Those liberals are making fun of our real existential threats, can't take anything serious. I know you understand - you're one of us, I can tell.
by PeraclesPlease on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 3:23pm
Borg?
by jollyroger on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 4:45pm
Borg.

I'm all in.
by Michael Maiello on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 8:37pm
i put it to you, sir, that but for the Borg (at least in the person of its ambassador, Seven of Nine) Barack Obama would never have gotten past his loss to Jack Ryan in order to become President, (ya' feel me?)

If any Ferengi boy child were suspected to have an IQ as low as Trump's, he would be put out to perish on the nearest ice flow, his parents would be stripped of all property and sold into slavery, and his relatives unto the fourth cousins twice removed would be sterilized to protect the gene pool.
Them Ferengi don't play.

Low Q?
by Michael Maiello on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 8:38pm
I always was suspicious of him as a deus ex manchina contrIvence. Dunno whether Roddenberry thought so too, but I like to think so...
by jollyroger on Thu, 10/27/2016 - 9:03pm
I was a Q fan, have to admit.
by Michael Maiello on Sat, 10/29/2016 - 1:27am
I guess when I deconstruct my objection to him with more granularity, it turns on how he seemed to provoke Patrick Stewart to overact in the Shatner vein, much as that may have contradicted his RADA roots...
by jollyroger on Sat, 10/29/2016 - 1:44am
Ferengi? Going for the obvious I see. I see Trump more as a Pakled.
