Just another example of how the right wing demographic is changing and how people relying on old stereotypes for their anti-right-wing rants are going to just start looking foolish, especially to pols willing to manipulate.
Throw the complexities of micro-targeting into this mix. Example: All now left in the "white evangelical" category do not actually think alike about absolutely everything. Just as a marketer selling products could pick that category apart for potential of whether they should target certain individuals and others not, so can politicians. As much as the human brain wants to plug people into tribes for political rationalization, micro-targeting can pick them apart.
Yes many older folks "set in their ways." But doh, they are older and that means they are gonna die soon.
