For those who have been lucky enough to miss this particular theory, there are enough people speculating on Obama's sexuality now that this might be the next in line after the birther theory. I became aware of this while staying with my conservative in-laws this last week.

"Any visiting of gay bars by the President was done solely for the purpose of research, as Mr. Obama is deep into writing a historical biography of our esteemed 15th President, James Buchanan."

While I agree completely with that assessment, I should point out that I'm quite certain that my in-laws didn't get their information from HuffPo and that although this rumor had propagated enough through the conservative infosphere to get to my in-laws who (surprise!) mainly rely on Fox News for their news. So, while it's a fringe theory, much like the birther theory it's got more traction than you might think, or at least that's my impression.

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and
