    REPUBLICAN QUOTES; A NEW MUSICAL!

    TRUTH

In “Changing Places” and “Small World,” the novelist David Lodge fashions a comical/satirical portrait of a literary critic named Morris Zapp, whose ambition, as his last name suggests, is to write about a topic with such force and completeness that no other critic will be able to say a word about it.

    Stanley Fish.

I’ve looked at that quote, in fact I looked at the video,” Santorum argued. “In fact, I’m pretty confident I didn’t say black. What I think — I started to say a word and then sort of changed and it sort of — blah — mumbled it and sort of changed my thought."

Any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood,” Gingrich said, amazingly.

(I am) going to repudiate every effort of the news media to get Republicans to fight each other to protect Barack Obama, who deserves to be defeated. Newt Gingrich

Look, I was pro-choice. I am pro-life. You can go back to YouTube and look at what I said in 1994. I never said I was pro-choice, but my position was effectively pro-choice. Romney

Some think me a zealous advocate of executive power, and often I am when it comes to national security issues. But I think President Obama has exceeded his powers by making a recess appointment for Richard Cordray (whom I respect and have no problems with as a nominee) to head the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Any private party can challenge this nomination by refusing to obey any regulation issued by the agency as the act of an unconstitutional officer. As a result, this may be the first time that Richard Epstein and I get to represent someone in court together!

BRILLIANT!   This is a stunning composite!  I actually think this would be a very entertaining knock 'em/sock 'em musical hit.  And it could evolve to add current topics/quotes.

Gotta say this is really creative and well done.

    WELL THANK YOU AUNTIE! ha

You know, it is fun just connect with anyone!

I spent time on this one. Believe you me!

I cannot write music or even play it. But it connects with me somehow and I love it.

Oh, I forgot the real purpose of this exposition is to get folks to read this fine essay at the top by Stanley. It is one hell of a ride!

Great post Mr. Day. Very disciplined. I love the clip on Whoville---Mitt in Whoville.

Great article by Fish. You know just yesterday I was talking to a book and it said to me, "The stories of my death have been highly exaggerated."

    Thanks!

You have me laughing because I have fifteen books sitting behind me. They speak to me all the time; but quietly! haahah

Gingrich steals the show, no question about it.

Though I must admit that Rick Perry outdoing W at W's signature routine, while commenting on W, is mighty nice, too.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw and then recalled this quote from Perry.

I mean he looks like Bush, he is pictured like Bush in his pretend war suits, he sounds like Bush and he delivers like bush. hahahahahahaha Except he is even worse!

It would have been just great to see him behind a dais debating Obama. hahahaaaha

This guy is dumber than Bush! And as lazy as Bush!

But this might be a good message about America. Who knows?
