I've always thought very little of Jonah, but he must have learned a thing or two about writing in the last couple of decades; got to admit this paragraph is my favorite kind of snark:

Yeah, don't think it's just cause he's saying what we want - he seems to be making up decent jokes/puns, and total piece holds together at a high register of writing, not the embarrassing wails of mom's cub reporter or pile-on need-to-be conservative meme dropper. Of course that was largely The Corner 8-10 years ago, a place where he wasn't the lowest IQ sadly. Perhaps he's ripe for a bit of compassion now in his knee-jerk salad, now that disappointment and Cassandra-like frustration is sinking in?
