ERIN BURNETT IN THE OLDEN DAYS
You know that kind of love and support that you get from your family? Well, it was that kind of reaction,” she said during an interview with the Tribune-Review at the Tampa Marriot Waterside. “And I was like, ‘Oh, it was OK then?’ ”
“The grandchildren tackled me at the end, just tackled me"
Okay, so I am in tears. Did you ever notice that there is the noun tears that represent some empathy and such and then there is tears that represents some sort of angry reaction against certain things?
Erin Burnett, one of the most repugnant human beings I have ever viewed on the tellie; (including Kelsie Grammer) when she fell into swoons over this multi-millionaire clone of the New Jersey Housewives:
http://crooksandliars.com/nicole-belle/erin-burnett-moved-tears-romney-appea
Erin is a pig.
And this bothers me because my daughter is named Erin and I love her to death but my daughter is not a pig. And yet Erin Burnett is a pig!
Now is this a fair assessment?
Well now there is indeed an argument there for sure!
I understand fairness and justice and domestic tranquility and a number of other American Ideals.
Which is why I know that Erin Burnett is a pig and my daughter Erin is an Angel!
Well Erin B cried like a baby when she left CNBC (the only fascist station on the NBC Line)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/06/erin-burnetts-teary-farew_n_858630.html
Erin Burnett is not a real human being even if compared to what?
The Federal Reserve has made food and gas more expensive, one television news show host said Friday, but evidence shows that's not really the case.
"Easy money has also sent commodity prices higher. This is the rub," Erin Burnett said Friday on her CNN show "OutFront." "Gas prices, as you can see, about double. Regular unleaded was $1.89 in November of 2008. It's now $3.82 a gallon. And food prices are up 54 percent over that same time frame. So easy money isn't so easy."
But there has been no correlation between the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing and commodity prices. The Federal Reserve started its first round of quantitative easing, or asset purchases aimed at stimulating the economy, in November 2008 and its second round in November 2010; there was no resulting, lasting spike in commodity prices. Commodity prices actually peaked in the summer of 2008 before quantitative easing began.
I know Erin B has easy money!
My buddy Linkins at Huffpo put it like this:
Here's the part of Greenwald's piece that really jumped out at me:
I'd bet that these two CNN personalities...would genuinely find the suggestion that they are not objective to be baffling and offensive. That's because their world begins and ends with Jamie Dimon, Citigroup executives, and Columbus Circle corporate galas. To them, Truth is what is found in that world and nothing else. When someone like Kosik sneers at concerns over mass joblessness, hopeless debt, foreclosures, and oligarchical control of the political process, she's not being a conscious propagandist; she's just being honest. Those problems don't exist in their world except as abstactions.
Erin Burnett is nothing but a pretty prick!
http://crooksandliars.com/clsphinx?keys=erin%20burnett
Erin B has been giving oral satisfaction to corporate entities for so long, that she now has a real taste for it!
Media matters just loves her ass:
In her first week on the job at CNN, Burnett quickly became a symbol of how media elites tend to instinctively write off liberal activists as being not important; as being naive to how the world really works. (One phrase for you: WMD.)
And yes, the fact that Burnett was mocking Occupy Wall Street activists while her bosses at CNN had just taken the unusual step of co-sponsoring a GOP presidential debate with a splinter (conservative) political group, the Tea Party, only opened her up to obvious charges of a political double standard being used at CNN.
When Burnett aired her now infamous report, she stressed that Occupy Wall Street had started off as "less than a dozen college students" camping in the park, and that it had since expanded to "hundreds" of participants. By Wednesday night an estimated 10,000 people took part in an Occupy Wall Street march in New York City, with similar protests now spreading nationwide.
For that reason alone, Burnett should revisit her report and concede she was wrong to portray Occupy Wall Street as a fringe movement. But more importantly, she should simply apologize to viewers for so rudely dismissing the emerging movement, and put the unfortunate incident behind her

Where does all this venom come from as far as my analysis?
Michael Savage is a savage and an animal who should be eschewed in more civilized company.
Rush Limbaugh is the epitome of arrogance and the leader of the hateful uneducated masses and he is more dangerous than any other voice I have ever heard—simply because of his ratings.
But Erin Burnett is a Trojan Horse, more dangerous than Trojan viruses that infect our machines every single day.
Erin sheds vacuous tears for vacuous women who have never been without their entire lives!
The point of this blog?
I hate Erin Burnett with my whole mind, with my whole heart and my whole soul!
The end
* I changed this title. I was out of line. I was making a pun and....
Oh well.
I still hate Erin Burnett and everything she stands for.

dd, Early in her tenure at CNN, I watched her a couple of times - surely because there was some report on an issue I was interested in learning more about. I remember that initially I liked her style and the way she conducted the couple of interviews I watched.
Then a few weeks later, I clicked to CNN and there she was, but I had done some research on whatever topic and quickly realized her 'take' was not accurate in either substance or events. (Surprising that so many of her reports on economics/financial issues were incorrect since this was the primary experience listed on her resume.)
Anyway, I did make a point to watch her a few more times and realized her agenda was not to deliver the facts, but rather to attempt to push her own stance, plus she appeared to be of the 'Romney' class and from the same mold, at least in attitude and the manner she treated some of her 'guests' and topics.
Your description of her as a 'Trojan' is spot on, she is not what or who she appears be and is touted; instead, like a whore, she cares not about those she screws.
by Aunt Sam on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 12:00am
She began (I assume following some time on some nothing local network) on CNBC and they are almost all fascist corporate pricks over there.
It is her demeanor, it is her smirk, it is her bob and weave, it is her spewing of absolute falsehoods when she thinks she can 'get away with it', it is her false pride...
Oh who cares.
I HATE HER!
hahahahahaha
by Richard Day on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 7:16am
Don't worry, Dick - it's just the Mexican paradox - everyone else's mother is la chinga madre, yours is la virgen.
And since we call them media whores, why not call out Burnett for being a whore?
And who sucks corporate cock better than a woman? Well, not Rachel Maddow for obvious reasons, but all the others? Maybe Chris Matthews is really a woman - can't seem to make up his mind, and always has some man-crush in his mouth, starting with Bush in codpiece/flight suit and working his way, ummm, down from there.
I'm glad we have this all clarified for the progressive side. Though for Aunt Sam, I'm a bit confused - I thought all women were whores who didn't care about who they screwed. Is it just media whores or who?
Almost got this wrapped up. Next week we tackle racism in America. Good thing I don't branch out to those recidivist sites - I hate the primitive knuckle-dragging of the right.
As Dick would say - Ha ha ha.

Now my mumsy was (and is still as far as I know) just a straight out fall down drunk just like my deceased father.
But that is beside the point.
Erin B would not know the truth if it bit her on the ass and did not leave a c-note.
hahahahahahahahaah
by Richard Day on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 7:18am
But aren't we confusing "slut" and "whore"? If you left a c-note, it'd be her job to know, whether she cared or not.
Will have to review my Rush Limbaugh transcripts - seems he went through all the definitions just a few months back.

Or call jolly--he's the expert on these kinds of distinctions!

Well, you had me scared there for a minute. I thought you were going to condemn all people named Burnett, and since my father's middle name was Burnette, I thought I was going to have to take you to task. I know you would have tried to weasel out of it by noting the added "e", and I would have countered that Burnette was not a family Surname, (like with Gene Autry's sidekick, Smiley Burnette), but rather that my dad was named after one of his uncle's, Burnette Burgoon Smith. You then would have countered with a joke about Burgoons, (who have a town named for them near Fremont, OH), I would have fired back with the internet equivalent of "Oh yeah?", and we would have gotten into a heated flame war so vitriolic we both would be too exhausted to watch Biden spit out Ryan in the next debate. So, to spare us both, I'm not going to mention the whole thing and just tell you, Nice rant, DD!" and now we can both enjoy yelling at the TV during the V.P. debate on Wed,

all I know is that the one I am talking about is a brunette!
by Richard Day on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 2:36pm
In lieu of "w" language which I find distasteful to say the least, I'm willing to say Erin is among many these days, in and out of media, who speak power to truth.
by AmericanDreamer on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 1:09pm
Phrase things with subtlety, manners and erudition? You is a throwback, aint'cha?
by PeraclesPlease on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 1:42pm
I was probably off base; I originally wrote horse and then I love over at the TV and there is Erin B on CNN just lying her ass off and...
Sorry if I offended thee.
by Richard Day on Sat, 10/06/2012 - 6:05pm
My not-too-subtle sarcasm implied you offended all women.
How many professional women are "bitches", "sluts", "whores" from word go, in obscene sexual terms, despite just doing their jobs the same as men?
Rush is still on the air, never missed a paycheck, for grotesquely labeling Sandra Fluke a slut and describing in detail her imagined love life.
I'm amazed we can be so politically correct on all things Republican, but the rules ease up on the rhetoric we use for our own ends.
McKaley is unimpressed.

Okay, I'm going to say what you're all waiting to hear from the little ladies here: I'm no fan of Erin Burnett (I've written about her here), but calling her a whore and a pig and then talking about sucking corporate cocks makes you sound like little boys trying to talk about a serious issue by using kid talk. It rarely ever works, except among other little boys.
Sorry, Richard, but you lost me right away. I have no idea where you've gone with this, because I didn't read beyond the first few paragraphs. If that's okay with you, it's fine with me, too. Just wanted you to know how it looks from this woman's POV.
by Ramona on Sun, 10/07/2012 - 10:04am
I agree with you Mona.
And in the scheme of things, does her show even matter? Hardly, it's on CNN, a channel that has morphed into Fox Lite. But is she a whore, no, she is just doing what she thinks her job is and that is to drive ratings. She isn't able to do it of course, but that is all she is doing. Turn on SyFy or last night AMC for the nth run of Groundhog Day, (I love that movie it's my favorite) but ignore Cable Talking heads, they drive the news, they make the news, but they don't report the news and as long as you know that, you know everything you need to know about those channels.
I need more coffee and need to get back to my canning!
by tmccarthy0 on Sun, 10/07/2012 - 10:49am
Hey, Teri, I'm picturing you canning and remembering when I used to do it, too. It's very satisfying and maybe I'll do it again some time. My problem is that I live in a small cabin now and storage is always an issue. I do freezer-can, especially when people bring us tomatoes and we can't eat them all right away. (I'm really jealous that you can get good apples without breaking the bank. Michigan's apple crop was just about wiped out by weather so we're hurting here.)
But about the talking heads. I do watch MSNBC a lot, and I'm finding UP with Chris Hayes a must-watch on Saturday and Sunday mornings. He is smart and articulate and invites guests from both sides who are the same. They actually discuss issues rather than trying to out-soundbite each other, and that's because they know they have more than mere seconds to get their points across. It's refreshing.
I can't watch Rev. Al or Ed Schultz, however. They shout and I can't stand shouters. Lawrence O'Donnell says what I want to hear most of the time, but he tends to talk too slowly, giving the impression that he's lecturing to people he apparently thinks can't understand things otherwise. I still like Rachel Maddow a lot, but even she gets wrapped up in theatrics when I want her to do the solid reporting she's so good at.
I don't watch CNN as much anymore, though I sometimes watch Anderson Cooper. I absolutely cannot spend more than a few seconds with Wolf Blitzer. But I do see an important place for talking-head shows. Politicians and their minions go on them to argue their cases and whether we think they're right or wrong, they're almost always fascinating to watch.
by Ramona on Sun, 10/07/2012 - 12:09pm
I was wrong, I am convinced.
I really was not thinking of it like this; I mean I call rush and beckerhead and cnbc and fox news and....whores all the time.
Again, as I mentioned elsewhere, I originally wrote horse.
I was even going to pull this damn blog but I have too many comments and if I change the title now; well I look even worse.
mea culpa
by Richard Day on Sun, 10/07/2012 - 11:36am
lol, this is what I love about you, Dick Day. You can't get away from the fact that you are one of the good guys! Okay, I really held my nose over this one, but you make good points. (I went back and read it to the end.)
This is the best--proving you do, in fact, have a way with words:
by Ramona on Sun, 10/07/2012 - 1:34pm
Well, no need to beat a dead... horse. Think the point was made, that's the most important - hard to pass up a punny title, but sometimes better to.
But what to do with the whole media contingent? Got to get them out of our lives...Cheers
