Obama's Outreach: Is The President Remodeling the Pyramid?

    If so . . . It's about time...

Pyramid?  You may ask, what the hell's this wacky Duck talking about now?

It's fairly simple to understand. Instead of all the voting public being relegated to the bottom of the rock pile, and being the last to know, has President Obama made you feel as if you sit at the top of his information pinnacle?

Does Obama speak in such a manner that it somewhat makes you feel as if you, your family and friends and neighbors and co-workers are who he truly cares about, who he represents, and who he serves?

Realize it or not, that's what presiding is all about.

Outside of your own voice, he's your primary voice to those in the halls of power, whether or not you even voted for him.

I personally have witnessed an individual human being  who wishes to hear from me on what he can do to help me and my family and my fellow Americans. I see a caring Father to his children and loving husband of Michelle. I also hear a man who wishes to hear from me when I think he's screwed up. I recognize him as an individual who takes responsibility for his actions very, very seriously.

Now as far as his confounding the people we entrust  to cover his Presidency, all one has to do is surf the news, stare in disbelief at the tube and see the coverage and reactions of those who for many many years have been the self-anointed, and self-appointed "gate-keepers" to our factual information. There's a perplexed bunch of lawmakers, pundits, reporters and journalists out there. They are as confused with this man's ways as they are with an understanding of how we the people on the street actually live and exist on a day-to-day basis. I hope they get hip pretty quick, before the last car is filled and leaves the station without them.

I'm glad I've lived this long to see this type of change come to OUR country.

Now if we can just rattle the rest of our representatives in the "Village on the Potomac" enough to make them realize it's a whole new game out here, maybe some serious work can be accomplished.

    Contact Elected Officials: USA.gov

Keep up the phone calls and faxes. Don't waste time with online polls. Call your representatives and personally make their staffs get the word to your lawmaker. Every call and every fax must be logged and registered by the staff and the log signed off by the lawmaker.

It makes no difference to me what your preferences might be. The economy, jobs, health care, education, Social Security,  energy independence, and/or the environment, or all of these, it's your dime. You name it and let them know how you feel. And don't allow yourself to be put off by the standard answer form return letter faxes or the person who answers your call. They still hear you. It all adds up. Also, a friendly reminder every three weeks never hurts.

After six decades on this dirtball called Earth I've seen it happen before in this country.

It is our duty as -- We the People, make a more perfect Union.

    Let's make it happen.

    It works folks ...
