Giving it another try here. Really guys be patient with me - singer Stevie Nicks once called coming off of Klonopin "like the gates of hell opening up." This last year has literally been a huge battle to not let the chemical torture overwhelm me. Despite being patient, be honest. I've been writing like a selfish asshole for years and I want to really know what you think.

This is ridiculous.

What is at times simultaneously tragic, horrendous and bizarre is also tragic. While presidential candidates mosey around talking about birth certificates, we live in a country where a mass shooting - not murders, mind you but mass shootings - happen every single week.

There is a lot of hubbub about Paul Ryan. He is obviously intelligent, principled, good looking and not bumbling in his words - all personal attributes that the Republican Party hasn't shown in a presidential or vice presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan.
