My Irrelevant Rant: Donald Trump, Debbie Wasserman Schulz, Howard Dean & Me

It all began in July, Donald Trump was on TV continuously, I had a dental appointment coming up. I slept very deeply the night before my appointment and I was dreaming, I mean having a nightmare.  I sat straight up in bed scared to death, because I'd dreamt Donald Trump was my dentist. There he was standing over my face, dye job gone wrong red hair and his his skin was a light cheeto tint, it was disturbing and probably true, but I've never been that close to Donald Trump to say that is absolutely factual. His assistant was everything you would expect of a Trump assistant.

The Case for Hillary Clinton: Health Care Policy Experience

Everyone knows I think Hillary Clinton is Bernie Sanders; equal. But if we were to be very truthful, she is more than his equal, because she has had to fight harder to get here. I'm serious about that, she even had to fight harder to get me.

In 2008, I was not a Hillary fan at all. I was 100% for the President.  I didn't think she proved herself (I was wrong about that). But I chose Obama, and while I am glad that I did, I want to say this, Hillary Clinton is a loyal big d and little d, democrat. She is the equal of every man and woman running, including Bernie Sanders. She has deep experience crafting policy and understands how to get legislation passed.

Magical Karmic Raises are only for Women!

At a women's tech conference Thursday, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft said this:

“It’s not really about asking for a raise, but knowing and having faith that the system will give you the right raise,” he said to an audience primarily composed of women. "That might be one of the initial 'super powers,' that quite frankly, women (who) don’t ask for a raise have. It’s good karma. It will come back."

Magical Karmic Raises are the best kind of raises, because it tells the world we women in tech are good girls who don't question authority!

Well everyone has heard about Romney's latest gaffe, which does make me wonder if he is or is not really a liberal undercover, cause, really??? I mean, one week to the day of his last biggest gaffe, he does it again, he inserts his both feet and his hands in his mouth, ending his presidential dreams. No more padding his resume. It's done. Most disconcerting is that he really seems to believe that the little people, 47% of Americans, just want a handout from the government, and they are victims, and that is why they will vote for the other guy no matter what, FREE STUFF!

Mitt Romney: Unfit to Be President

This morning Mitt Romney has accused the President of  sympathizing with the people who killed the US Ambassador to Libya. In a statement released Tuesday evening but held back until 12:01 AM Wednesday, Mitt Romney said: “It’s disgraceful, that the Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”

Paul Ryan, well he just can't stop lying can he, first we find out that his entire speech at the RNC was riddled with outright lies. I think my favorite lie is that the GM plant that closed in 2008 is Obama's fault! I love the guy's logic, his reason, he is John Galt, he is a genius.

Going Solar By Day

Donal has written a number of amazing blogs on solar energy projects in his area. Those blogs convinced me it would be a good time to try talk to my husband about investing in a solar electric system for our house.  He agreed immediately thinking it was an excellent idea so in the next three months we are going solar by day. We signed the contract yesterday.

Factcheck has released yet another ridiculous truth-o-meter on the President and how he is selling the newly Constitutional PPACA. I think their points are worth refuting.

Fact Check States in their summary: Obama reiterated his “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan” refrain, despite the fact that at least a few million workers won’t keep their employer-sponsored plans, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
