It has been 23 years since my Twins won a World Series Crown; HOW THE HELL DOES ONE SURMISE THAT THERE IS A WORLD SERIES WHEN ONLY ONE COUNTRY IS INVOLVED IN THE FESTIVITIES?
(Yeah I realize that Canada shows up with one or two teams from time to time, but damn. Of course the Twins get all their players from Cuba anyway, so....)
Just the idea of grown men running around an arena and constantly grabbing at their Johnsons—especially the pitchers—is kind of freeing in a way.
I mean we came up with cups before helmets because there certainly was an impetus to protect future generations. Hahahaha
Anyway there was this essay on the web discussing video replays, which have now become part of Baseball as well as Football.
http://www.lonestarball.com/2012/6/13/3083297/technology-and-the-umpire-mindset
The essayist just decided that it would be better if we could use cameras and computers to call balls and strikes.
The problem with this solution is that we have 'hackers'.
Some prick on the opposing side of things might wish to 'cut into' the computer/video complex and slant the supposedly balanced view.
Now Stalin of course (the man of steel) decided that Trotsky had struck out; three strikes and you're out for chrissakes.
Certainly no video replay with regard to Stalin's decisions became available. hahahah
Still we are stuck with some idea of 'standards' and 'fairness' and some Platonic idea of aristocratic panels. WHO SHOULD MAKE THE FINAL DECISION?
Well that does not work real well as far as anyone's definition of 'Justice'; although Trotsky as the head of the second most powerful nation might not have fared that well, really.
I am now 64 years of age and I really understand that there is no justice in the world.
Justice cannot ever really be achieved or even defined. hahahaah
Anyway, there should be some umpires employed in the world of the media.
The Washington Post has Pinocchio’s and such, but damn; the right wing bastards will simply label WP biased and blah blah blah.
http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/political-animal-a/2014_06/four_pinocchios_for_glenn_kess050683.php
Just as an aside, the Duck Dynasty presents a guy who recalls Negroes singing in the fields whilst picking cotton and then goes ahead and tells our young men to find a fifteen year old bride who might be best molded to de-feather ducks....well, I mean two strikes and you are out.
Can you imagine a man telling twenty five year olds that it would be best to commit statutory rape in order to get women to admit your superiority?
Now an ump would certainly call you 'out' just out of a sense of overall justice. Hahahahha
ANYWAY

The latest shooting is now a conspiracy by the GOVMENT to set up the NAZI'S as set ups for the killings of two innocent officers? Oh and the innocent maller? Oh and then they just killed the two felons? Even Bundy did not want them!
Should not there be an umpire to call 'strike' or 'three strikes yer out” or YOU ARE OUT OF THE GAME YOU SOMBITCH?
GOHMERT
Mike supported me in this attack on the single dumbest Congressmen in the Lower House.
http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/you-are-attempting-argue-above-your-weight-18545
I laugh because the first time I used the puppet in a rant against this idiot, the powers that be struck out the video. Hahahahah
Mike was so goddamn mad at this prick that he not only let the cartoon in, he commented. Hahahhaaha
Gays are all NAZI's.
Should not some umpire just scream:
STRIKE THREE, YER OUT!
TED CRUZ
Oh, past military heroes up for nomination are traitors to America!
“We’ve got two pending nominations, John Kerry and Chuck Hagel, both of whom are very prominently anti-us – less than ardent fans of the U.S. military.” Perhaps if Ted Cruz actually knows anything about the deficits caused by 12 years of war, he’d be believable.
Oh, Obamacare will sentence millions of Americans to death!
http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/ted-cruz-desperado-17551
Strike fifteen and yer out!
I could go on and on and on, as I usually do. I mean there is Palin and Bachmann and Rover and.....
But....

Cantor went and struck out last night. The right wing nut Bart gave Jesus credit for it. All I can say is Happy Day when Cantor lost.

The GOP is now a party where Ronald Reagan, Christine Todd Whitman, and Eric Cantor are not considered Conservative.

In 2012, Cantor won with 58% of the vote, to his challenger's 41%, which brings up the possibility that this seat can be taken by a Democrat in this year's election - although the Tea Party guy (whose victory made Cantor the first House Majority Leader to lose his party's primary since the position was created in 1899).could very well win, too. This is pretty red district.

I missed this whole thing, as they say.
I love Momo of course, but damn, where did you come from?

I really don't see how Jesus has time to pick primary winners when he's so busy deciding which professional sport team's players make the best prayer so he can decide which team wins.

What's the big deal, down here in Arizona everyone hates the Heat. Most of the Canadians who live here go north for the summer. Of course that might not be the Heat. They could be hungry for traditional Canadian foods, like whale blubber, that aren't available in the local supermarkets in Arizona. Don't really know how people down here feel about Le Bron since I don't speak french, so I don't know what that is.
by ocean-kat on Mon, 06/16/2014 - 1:45am
Ocean shows up too?
hahahahaha
Whale blubber?
hahahahahah
ANYHOW....
The Heat is gone at least today!
