Just wanted to give a shout-out here to A-man and Genghis for creating a great site and for keeping the lights on.

Kudos due!

Especially for the keeping the lights on part, and that's not just about the monetary cost. Sure, many are willing to do the fun parts for free. But I've seen few who also have a day job that are willing to keep up with the day-in, day-out maintenance like you guys do.

Oh so it was Articleman and Genghis. I didn't know that!

A lot of us old Cafe patrons found a home here and a lot of other folks from that club visit from time to time.

It is safe here.

And I must have blogged here from time to time before Josh kicked us out because you list my stay here as going back to the first three months or so of your beginnings.

This is a good place to come to for shelter.

Thanks people! It's been a blast. I'm glad that so many of you had found dagblog to be a happy home and a good platform for your writing. It's you folks that make this place what it is. Our newest stumble-by contributor (a self-described right-winger no less) just emailed me in all seriousness: "These people are brilliant." So there you go.

I have been reading the site since pretty close to its inception, having been caught up in one of Genghis's cattle rustling operations at the tpm ©afe during the 2008 elections. It has been very interesting to see the transition to a larger group.  Thanks for pulling it off.

Happy Birthday indeed.  This really is a special place and I second those who thank you so much for the time you have devoted to make this an unmatched forum for the exchange of ideas on the web.  Genghis and A-man, you should both be so very proud of yourselves.  Kudos to both of you.

Thank you, guys!  This is the best place to debate the character of Ralph Nader on the Webs.  I mean it, seriously.  He didn't cost Gore the White House.  It was Gore's fault.  He lost his own home state.  It's good that there's a place where I can say that.
